Bloodclotte Playtest v2

Initial playtesting has been going well, and we have our first major update to the Bloodclotte Playtest document! The game now has a brand new sixth class - The Symmetrist, written by Thomas Manuel. Thomas has written and designed for Resistance games such as Spire and is a published historian who writes about 19th century India, so I was really excited to bring him on board to work on a class based on Ayurvedic medicine. The Symmetrist views the body as a balance of opposed qualities (hot and cold, wet and dry, etc.) and sees illness as being a disruption that can be healed through that balance being corrected both inside the body and between the patient and the universe at large. With skills ranging from Ancient Wisdom to Massage Therapy, it's a really fun class that encourages you to be a bit of a smug know-it-all.

Iatromath has had some significant reworking done: it now starts with Compel and Fabricate as its core skills and has two new wards. The Lapidary Ward is a jewelry-making workshop for gemstones and healing crystals, and the Performing Arts Ward lets you put on a stage show with your patient where you can guide them through their recovery with the power of art. Other classes have new wards as well - the Death Priest's Mobility Ward is a rework of the Rehab Ward that makes its purpose a bit more explicit, and the Yellow Chemist now has the Pharmacy Ward, granting access to dozens of suppliers and peddlers to Bargain with.

Version Two now has a GM Advice section, answering some common questions that came up during playtesting. This includes an Example of Play that follows Dr Velpeau the Metaphysician and Dr Arkovy the Sawbones as they work through the Patient Track of a mercenary with a bullet lodged in his brain. This is followed by Ward Advice, with a paragraph on each available Major Advance in the game and some suggestions on how to create challenges in that area and help your players have fun with the space.

Some general rules fixes have been applied throughout the book, and we've also added a form-fillable character sheet and a printable player handout document with rules and quickstart guidance. Thank you to everyone who has given feedback so far! Hopefully you enjoy this latest edition of the game and find that it gives you some more direction either as a GM or as a player.

I didn't think I would take to this sort of more story focussed game but that was just me being tired and miserable on the first session.  Those moments of inspiration really are coming and we've built quite a nice little story.  I've also sunk into the character a few times which is what it's all about.  I really hope this game keeps growing.
